I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but I will say the styles that look good on me definitely changed. I lost an extra 20 lbs after C was born, so I was definitely slimmer, but the styles that used to flatter me didn't look good, and styles that used to draw attention to my problem spots started looking good. I guess my problem spots moved? But, since I knew I'd be having another baby in not too long I have still be going cheap and disposable. Once I wean our second LO, I'm going to try and embrace buying quality items that I love.

I'll def listen to this next time I'm cleaning!

I so loved that podcast. I'm working on finding stores/lines that will fit well with my new body and it's been a bit tough. These crop tops aren't so hot for the long bellied among us. :silly:

@Littlebit: I just signed up for StitchFix a few days ago. I really am trying to create a capsule wardrobe or at least a work "uniform" like pants, printed top, cardigan, skirts...I wish I had a bigger budget :(

@Eminthevalley: meee! Not so much redefining my style but I'm trying to be a smarter shopper! I used to buy lots of cheap clothes that were cute but they didn't lay right, or I had to keep tugging at them, or they only looked good with one outfit, you get the idea. They also were horribly quality.

Now I'm trying to think hard about the pieces I'm buying. Are they well made? Do they fit well? Will they be out of style in two seasons? All things I ask before buying now. I just did a big purge of all the crap in my closet...and its bare bones!! I've been using stitch fix and shopping online to build it back up. I'm only buying pieces I LOVE, so it'll take a while, I'm sure.

Love this podcast in general, but this episode in particular changed the way I think about my "post-baby" (ahem, 2 years post-baby) body. http://longestshortesttime.com/podcast-56-the-new-you-itll-do/
I have gotten rid of stuff that doesn't fit me. I am trying to focus on clothes I feel good in and redefining my style rather than beating myself up over getting back to pre-baby weight...even if I get there, my body is not going to be shaped the same.
Anyone else working at re-discovering their style?
