I was destined and expecting to fail, anyways, so I just took the 1 hour test, failed miserably and headed off to the diabetes center without even bothering with the 3 hr. With M I only ever had to do the one hour and passed. this time I failed the blood work ordered as part of blood work ordered at the beginning of my pregnancy. They want me to do a fasting glucose test to check if I have diabetes. The nurse said no food or water 10 hours before. </p> <p>No water?! </p> <p>If you took the 10hrs fasting glucose test did you have to abstain water too? </p>
