We will definitely do some kind of make up fathers day thing with my dad the following weekend, probably just hanging out at their house. And for the last few years we've donated to a Donors Choose project in their areas of interest for my parents for both Mothers Day and Fathers Day, so we'll do that again as his gift.<br /> For DH, do you think I need to do a make up Fathers Day for him, too? I was probably just going to give him a Home Depot gift card so that he can add to his evergrowing collection of wood working tools and some time off to play in his woodshop. Should I still do that the following weekend or is our trip a break enough? He also asked for a driver head cover with a pic of our kids on it so I got him that, but he picked it out himself so it's not a surprise or anything. We both have May bdays so gift ideas are kind of used up! I also got him some water guns, so we can have family water fights, so I'll wrap those up.</p> <p>As for plans, I'm a little bitter because it falls two days before my birthday and I feel like it should actually be MY DAY!
