@Smurfette: it might be too early but try again in a bit!

also you can make pancakes with whole milk and full fat butter and break it up real small for her

@winniebee: That is what we tried, it was frozen. It was turkey sausage, but still it was too tough for her. I had to fish it out of her mouth. I will try it again with some full fat sausage.

@Smurfette: have you tried pre-cooked breakfast sausage? I think we get Jones brand (no casing). Just cut it up into thin slices and even halve them after that. i think around 9 months is when my son was really able to pound those puppies and he only had a few teeth :)

@Smurfette: I didn't say WE eat olives... :)
Oh and @winniebee has a great suggestion with the beef stew pieces. They are soooo tender and fall apart so they are easy for those younger eaters!!

@winniebee: I think she is just small too. I think she should just enjoy it while she can. I see her thighs, takes after her Mommy, so she won't always be small!
We buy the lean ground beef.....And we tried turkey sausage and she couldn't chew it. Even though she has 5 teeth.

I know your LO is younger but here are some things you could try at that age

butter or olive oil on all veggies
cheese on everything
olives
ground beef
pasta in cream sauce
breakfast sausage
bacon
hummus
cream cheese

I read your other thread and TBH, my son has a really, really caloric diet in part because he is so small. And he eats well and always has but he's just a peanut. If I ate his diet I'd gain a bunch of weight :)

Avocado oil and coconut oil! I use both for baking and frying/sauteeing. LO is really into breads lately, so I made a cheese and zucchini bread with avocado oil... fat, dairy, and veggies all hidden inside :)
