The first few seconds of Surf Wax America can pull me out of any funk. It just represents a great time for me (senior year, turning 18). Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American is a close second for the same reason. I don't know if I've ever had more fun in my life than the times I was constantly listening to those albums. It reminds me of getting over the mean-girl-ness of middle school and deciding I'd hang out with people I liked, and who liked me. Finally growing out my first really terrible haircut. And really getting into skiing for the first time. every time I listen to it, 17 years later - it makes me happy. </p> <p>There are others I love for different reasons but I dont think I will ever grow out of that album. </p> <p>What's yours, and why? </p>
