My biological Dad and step-mom just stayed at Ambar this summer on our recco and loved it. We are not off property adventurous people, though the options did look fun, just not our thing, we wanted to be slugs on the beach :)</p> <p>We ate all of our dinners outside of Esmerelda (I can recco a few spots for dins!!) and had no issues booking them! We ended up getting to book for each night and even went back to one a second time it was so good! Punta Cana, DR</p> <p>We stayed in the Esmerelda section, Ambar or Esmerelda would be where I'd stay! If we ever go away again, we'll just go back there over and over! We stayed at the El Dorado Maroma in 2012 and loved it. Small resort (about 100 rooms), great service, not the place to go if you want to party, but great for relaxation and decent food for an AI.
