Baby Tracker for tracking newborn feedings, diaper, and sleep... I'm not using the sleep function right now, but maybe I will later.

@regberadaisy: Yeah, it's a free app for the first 30 minutes. I think $4.99 after the trial period.

There's the ability to play songs from your playlist. So I'm not sure if you can use both this app and the sound machine.

@bluestriped bee: that's teally cool! Is it a free app? I hate bringing our monitor to my family's so I never do. But this will be a good alternative. I use the iPad as a sound machine when we're there. Will that interfere with this app?

We traveled back east for Christmas and I forgot to bring our baby monitors but I needed a baby monitor. I downloaded 'Baby monitoring by Annie' and I love it. Alerts me when the babies are awake. I installed it on my ipad to be used as the listening device and it alerts me on my iphone (the parent unit). I think I can use it to talk to the babies, too. Now that I'm home, I can use it to monitor while I'm at work. (Not that I need to check on DH.) I guess it can be used as a nanny monitor (it can take video but I use just the audio)... you can listen to them. It works using my wifi. I can set the level at which they are awake, so background noise like white noise machines shouldn't be a problem.
