It sticks to the bathtub really well and no matter how hard DS tries he can't get it to move. It was his favorite thing forever and he loved scooping up water and dumping the on his head. I don't like squirt toys, they gross me out. I did order a octopus/ring toy that i think she will like. Anything else you have that won't get moldy? </p>
