My son hated Bumkins so we instead use the Skiphop zoo bibs. They are really lightweight and soft so my son doesn't mess with them.

We love the Bumkins super bibs and now we've graduated to the smocks. They've got a lot of coverage and most importantly, very easy to clean and dry fast.

We like either the Bumkins (my favorite) or Bjorn smocks (Papa Y's favorite). We also have the hard Bjorn ones, but so far that one distracts LO too much and he just chews it, twirls it, etc.

@sulli301: We don't use them! We never really used bibs. DS has almost always been without bib (and you know he puked a lot lol). I coil probably count on one hand the number of times e's used one since birth.

I have these green sprouts ones that are plastic like but are more malleable. They still have a pocket, but are not stiff.

I use and really love the bibs @ohapostrophe recommended on her blog http://ohapostrophe.blogspot.com/2011/09/food.html the BJÖRN bibs. My LO is also 10 months old.

We use the Bumkins pocket bib. We have 4, and I wash them with the dishes after the meals. I also throw them in the laundry weekly with his stuff. The pocket is really amazing-- it really does catch most stuff.

We tried the stiff plastic Baby Bjorn bib but he didn't like it and if it's crooked, it won't catch half the stuff!

@sulli301: I got tired of washing bibs. :D Breakfast and lunch are fairly not messy. DInner I let her go wild with her food if she wants to since she gets a bath before bed time. :)

Right now I usually put LO in a small cloth bib (I have about 100 lol people love to give bibs plus they come with outfits!) & then a plastic bib with a pocket in the front on top of that. I layer the bibs because the plastic smaller one keeps the top of the shirt protected. I am looking for bibs now that DD is eating finger food & will be starting to have different kinds of solids soon (besides just purees).

What is your favorite bib for solid foods? If it helps LO is 10 months old
