My son was a crazy drooler (and it continued until he was 2-1/2!), so we tried so many types of bibs in various fabrics and styles. I found these 3 (2 styles from silly billys) to be the softest, easiest to care for and most absorbent. Here are links:

1) This 1st bib is a Mums2mums bib ... I used this brand with DD (a minimal drooler) and found it perfect for my "high density drooler" of a son as well ... it was suggested to me by the mother of a student I taught who happened to have cerebral palsy (a drooler with rigid muscle tone who could not wipe his own mouth). She advised me that if it worked for D, it would work for my children. It is fairly large so it is great for 1-1/2+ years:
Youth Special Needs Bandana Bib - Hot Pink - Waterproof https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008Z2LYVO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_v7UDCbXVPBH5K

2.) I found this style of Silly Billys' bib to work awesomely well for 0-10 mos. (* I used a silicone bib over it for meal times with starter solids):
Silly Billyz Premium Toweling Bib, Lilac https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758HCSNR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_J-UDCbXT8P1AS

3) This style from Silly Billys' is a bandana style which does not get in the way when a LO is crawling but is still Terry cloth soft and uber-absorbant. This style is great for 11 mos to 3 years of age. My son received so many comments/compliments while wearing them (especially because I coordinated all his bibs with his outfits):
Silly Billyz Toweling Bandana Bib, Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758CDRJZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_C.UDCbEETPPWB

WE have these bandana style snap bibs for spit up reasons. They are soft and seem to be very absorbant at least as far as spit up goes! I’m sure there are cute boy designs to be had :)

10-Pack Baby Bandana Drool Bibs... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FCIWWHS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

These are certainly not cute, but we find them to be the best for our MEGA drooler. This is the brand our daycare uses, so that's how we found out about them. But if you're looking for something similar/cuter, we've found that the kind without the foil lining are best for drool because they are more absorbent and softer if you need to wipe up the chin area. These are also especially large, which is good cause we through a couple a day still. My son is almost 2 now so we go with snaps because he can't undo them himself, which he can with velcro.

Follow up to my rash post - did you have bib brands/styles you loved if your kid needed them constantly? For drool etc not actual feeding. We’re almost to spring clothes here and I hate to cover them up so cuteness is a plus
