It does include colors BUT each color is associated with a character. Pop the Pig is one that both of my boys love, and even though he doesn't know how to play it, Connect Four is one that my 2 year old loves to "play". He really just likes to put the little chips in the board. For Christmas she will be getting Candyland, Mousetrap, Yeti in My Spaghetti, and some type of memory match game (probably the My Little Pony one). I think there's lot of varieties.
