@Nighthawk: Ok.... just wait it out. Sometimes it was so bad I just pumped the bad side. By 2.5 months he liked both sides the same (and no pain!!).

Paste moo...she is one month. Babyboeksmom...I don't think it's a let-down issue. My right one actually leaks out faster than my left. As for size: my left breast is noticeably larger than my right, but I always read that larger breasts seem to be harder to latch on to, so I'm confused. Lol

Oh I thought this thread was going to ask which is our favorite breast. Mine is my right sided one. What can I say.....it's more perky! :)

I had to use a different position every time on the left, and the right could just do the cradle hold no problem.... My NP said this is common. Usually the boobs are slightly (or more than slightly) different in size so the latch is easier on one side than the other. Keep at it. It gets easier. How old is your LO?

Do you think it could be a letdown issue? My LO preferred my right side, which was my good side. She would get frustrated at the left side and I think it was because it took longer for that side to letdown.

My son does seem to prefer the right one, which is funny to me because I always think of my left one as the "good one" (it's a little smaller and perkier!) He will still nurse from it fine, but sometimes it's a little more work.
It makes me think of the book Room. It's narrated by a little boy and he talks about breastfeeding and has a preferred boob. I think he has a special name for the good boob.

I was wondering if anyone else has the issue of their LO having a favorite breast? My 1 month old loves the left breast and pretty much refuses to feed on the right, no matter how hard I try. I'll get her to latch on, but she then makes a disgusted face and spits the nipple out. I've taken to feeding her exclusively on the ,eft while pumping the right because I've become too frustrated trying to get her to stay latched on to the right. The
funny thing is, this is a newer development as only a week and a half ago she didn't mind feeding off the right. Gah, sometimes I wonder if it would be easier to just switch to formula full-time.
