Not a fan of games at showers, but one that doesn't make people uncomfortable is to have a timer and if it goes off when the bride is opening your gift, you get a small prize (soaps, candle, gift card to dunks or something, etc)

Lot's of great suggestions! I love games that don't require you to interact with people you don't know. I hate those kinds of games so much!

I love the recipe idea! I wish we had done that at my shower.

I also like Gift Bingo since it makes that part of the shower a little less boring.
@MrsKerch:'s suggestion with the groom/bride trivia is fun...
I've also done a 'how much do you know about the bride/couple' trivia sheet, with questions about when they met, how long they've dated, birthdays, first pet, etc. etc.

I just played a fun one where someone had done a big poster with about 12 pictures of the bride at different ages. Guests had to write down their guesses as to how old the bride was in each picture; the one who got the most correct answers won a prize. It was fun because a lot of the photos included siblings, cousins, relatives, and friends who were attending the shower

This was done concurrently with @ElbieKay: 's favorite game, so it was very low pressure to participate :)

I don't really like games, but I do enjoy activities that people can do as they please. A couple ideas:
- Ask everyone to bring a few photos of themselves with the bride and have scrapbook material available for them to make a page.
- Make a date-night jar and have all the guests write a date activity suggestion on Popsicle sticks.
- Have all the guests write/draw where they met the bride and their name on an unfired pottery platter, then have the platter glazed and fired as a gift to the bride.

My favorite game is the one where you ask the groom a bunch of questions in advance about the bride and then go through all of the questions as a group and have her guess how he answered. It's usually super cute and shows some of the softer side of the guy, etc.

ETA: have each guest guess how many correct the bride will get and then give a prize to the closest guesser.

I like the game where people chit chat and drink cocktails. Sorry I know that is not helpful!

Trivia and word games.

Mad-Libs
Gift bingo even if the shower is themed like lingerie or kitchen stuff
Couple trivia or just bride trivia

Ice breaker, have each guest write the year they met the bride and provide a short story about the encounter/ friendship over the year

Is the honeymoon known? You can make that into an interactive game with just a few participants like pictionary or charades using films, famous people, or landmarks from the destination.

Have each guest bring a favorite recipe to start the bride off with a recipe file of tried & true recipes.

Hello! I am a bridesmaid this summer and am helping to throw a shower and have been asked to help with shower games. Unfortunately, I am not really a games person so I am coming up blank with ideas that I think everyone will find enjoyable. What type of games do you enjoy at showers?

Thank you for the help!
