It shows movies that are beyond the regular theater but not on DVD yet, and the tickets only cost $1.75 (stupid inflation, they used to only be $1!). Concessions cost the same, but if you carry a big purse you could easily carry in your own snacks :)</p> <p>Or, there is a theater/restaurant thing here, which shows movies but also is a bar/pub...something like that?</p> <p>Does your city (or a close by one) have one of these? My husband commutes, and usually isn't home before 7pm. However, there are a few places in the area that run happy hour prices over the weekends. There's a pool hall that does great microbrews and gourmet apps that we loved to frequent before DD was born.
