Particularly because they make "shorts" in some washes and cuts. They have washed well, retain their elasticity and don't sag, and offer a nice mid rise to contain the flabby post babe lovely midsection thing that I have going on. I can't remember the name of the styles that I have, but what I did was go into the store (which I suggest, because I wore different sizes in different styles), and told her I wanted something with a midrise, and that narrowed it down to just a few styles, which I tried on and chose what I liked. H&amp;m stores tend to stock 32" inseams Which are a bit too long for me. I'm 5'5" so I think at 5'9 it'll work great for you. They do have longer inseams in store and online if you need them. But we are going up north for Christmas and it is going to cool off here a little so I will need pants. I am still about 10 lbs over prepreg weight. I can stuff myself into 1 of my pairs of jeans but they aren't comfortable.</p> <p>I haven't bought jeans in probably 3 years or more. I want to get probably 2 pairs, 1 skinny and 1 straight/bootcut. I am tall (5'9'') and have a pretty thin/straight build (except now a little post baby belly). Don't want to invest much $$ since I know my size may change. Would probably prefer a mid-rise, not low rise (due to the belly!).</p> <p>What cheap jeans do you like? I tried Old Navy and their jeans fit me weird (seems like they would fit better on a curvier body). I used to get jeans at Express in college but I looked online and they are like $90 and don't look what I am trying to find! </p>
