I have long fine hair and I’m obsessed with Living Proof Restore conditioner. It’s made my ends look so much healthier! I don’t often rave about products but I feel like it’s changed my life. Ha. I buy it in the 64 ounce bottle so it’s a little less plastic in the long run 🤷🏼‍♀️.

If like the conditioner and you are just worried about static, I started using Argan Oil in my hair in the winter. When my hair is wet, I put a small drop on the comb, them comb through the bottom of my hair. (I have very very long hair and I found it to be too heavy/greasy near my roots) Then I would style/dry my hair as normal and no frizz!
And I got a tiny sample bottle that lasted me all last winter with the bonus that it was glass (also trying to move my family toward zero-waste :) ) I just can't remember the brand or where I bought it right now.

I have thought about switching to shampoo bars and conditioner bars, but my hair is so long (to my waist) that I'm going to wait till I chop it off and then experiment.
If you do get a conditioner bar, report back with your experience!

@graceandjoy: @gitkimchi: I've heard of shampoo bars but not conditioner bars. Maybe I'll try that.

@bhbee: I've used Pantene in the past. That's what I'll return to if I can't find something else that works. I forgot that Loop has started selling it in aluminum bottles.

I tried conditioner on the ends before and after washing (just my scalp) today and it seems to have helped. My hair is so long the scalp gets oily while the rest stays really dry.

I like Pantene sheer volume - you can buy a pretty big container at least but it’s in plastic

I've been trying to find minimal packaging/plastics alternates for everything in my house. I tried a conditioner in an aluminum bottle and I love the company concept but it just doesn't do enough for my hair in the winter. It gets expensive to keep experimenting in things that don't work.

Does anyone have a favorite conditioner for fine hair? Minimal waste bonus points but at this point I'd rather just have something that works and won't leave me a static ball all winter.
