@snowjewelz: it's only come up once and we have been using it for over a year. And I have never removed another convertible car seat cover so I don't know how much worse it is, I just know that knowing there is a zipper option made me really sad I didn't have it. But hopefully you won't have issues!!

@Foodnerd81: Ugggh I was looking at that one but we ended up getting the regular one. Clearly I haven't really been through any messy ordeals with DD yet! Tehcnically we still have the box and can return, but now I'm too lazy!

@MRSJX3: c looks out the window no problem in our nextfit.

Oh and I agree with @Corduroy: that it is a pain to clean. BRU sells a version with a zip off cover that's like $50 extra. C has only thrown up once in the car but I would have gladly paid $50 that day to have it zip off. :bummed:

We love the foonf because DD can see out of the car and is still RFing at 2.5 and 85th percentile for height. My in laws got the Fllo and my mom will too when DD is close to growing out of the combi (which she has to be in FFing because she's so tall but she's still going to grow out of it around 3).

Another chicco nextfit fan. We had an Acura TL when we got it and it took up the least space front to back RF. the straps did take a week or two to loosen up so I could tighten it easily. C is 2 and average height and still fits great RF and doesn't complain getting in so that's a good sign. And it is so easy to install with LATCH. It's a little more difficult with a seatbelt but once you do it a couple of times it's pretty quick and easy.

I really wanted to like the diono radian, but when we tried it in the middle seat in the Acura it blocked my vision. I think the angle adjuster would have helped but we really liked the nextfit so just went with that.

@Corduroy: Do you have the zip version or the regular one?

We have a Peg Perego which is awesome for longer car rides because it's very padded. We need to get another one and haven't decided yet which one. I wanted a nextfit but then I heard it's hard to see past the high sides?

@ShootingStar: @Mrs. Lemon-Lime: @CRGmama: We also have the Maxi Cosi Pria 70 and have the same issues with it. I'm hoping the straps loosen up over time as she gets bigger (~20 lbs and will be 1 year on Friday), but for now I pull on the straps from the back of the seat to help tighten, since she's rear-facing (for another couple years at least). I don't know what I'm going to do when we eventually have to switch her to forward...

We just switched, we have a Britax Boulevard and a Chicco Nexfit and I like both! I might like the Chicco slightly more at this point. We have a CR-V and the Britax goes into my parent's Subaru.

Honestly, I did so much research, and both are top rated for safety and have good features. We took DD to Buy Buy Baby and literally put her in a few seats and I tried to buckle/unbuckle her, etc.

we have the foonf in one car and the Guide 65 in our smaller car. I like the foonf as the seatbelt doesn't get twisted and will likely get another in the future.

LO doesn't seem to have a preference though, he goes happily into both. we got the Guide 65 to use for plane travel too as it's less bulky and wasn't too difficult to install.

@ShootingStar: we have the same line up and I 100% agree. The Pria is really hard to tighten. It's in my husbands car. I much prefer my nextfit and I've been so happy with it! It was a little hard to tighten when it was on the lowest height setting but now it's so easy. We had a keyfit infant seat and we were super happy with that as well.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: The straps are a lot tougher to use than the Nextfit's are. The Pria's constantly get stuck that last half inch or so and I feel like it's really tough to get it safe. There are mornings when I am SWEATING trying to get it tight enough. Meanwhile I used DH's Nextfit last weekend and I was amazed at how smooth the straps glided on his.

The other problem I have with the Pria is the straps are constantly getting twisted. I heard from another Pria user that theirs does this too. By twisted, I mean the part that snaps into the crotch buckle is either flipped around or partially flipped. It happens all the time, and half the time I don't realize it until DS is already strapped in (which believe me isn't easy at 21 months!) and then I have to undo him, figure out which one is messed up, and then fiddle with the strap and try to get the thing turned around. It sounds silly and like this should take 2 seconds, but it's actually fairly labor intensive.

The seat is also really difficult to loosen. There's this hidden button that you just have to feel around for, and then sometimes the straps get stuck and won't come loose.

The pros of it are, it has a small foot print and isn't that bad to install. But DH vastly prefers uninstalling and reinstalling his Nextfit. The Nextfit is also much easier to loosen and to tighten. The Nextfit is the only other convertible seat that I have experience with. But if I could do it all over, I'd just get two of those.

We have a Foonf in my car and a Graco MyRide65 in Hubs' car. The ONLY reason we have Foonf is because I won it at Mommycon; otherwise we'd have a 2nd Graco. I have gone back and forth on my worship of the Foonf, but am now firmly in the "I wish we could afford another one when LO2 will need one." D loves it compared to the Graco because he sits up high and can see perfectly out the window. My only complaint is that there isn't a cupholder, which the Graco has, although you can buy one after-marker from Clek; I just haven't bothered to spend the money.

We have a Britax Boulevard and Graco (I forgot the model). They're pretty much exactly the same in terms of dimensions and ease of install. I know that everyone loves Foonfs for their high rear facing limits, but I feel like other brands have done a lot in the past few years to catch up.
