I don't like ones that are wet, but the suave is very dry like powder. I have ashy dark blonde hair so I'm not sure if it would be trickier on dark hair. Suave is still pretty stinky, but, less so. I'm kind of obsessed with the smell. I only have a travel size so I use it very sparingly when I want something special. It makes your hair so silky and shiny but not greasy! They also make a dry shampoo which I haven't tried.
