Iowagirleats.com quinoa sweet potato turkey chili! DD loves it (after picking out the sweet potato, hahaha). And without the cheese, it's mspi friendly! I plan to stock a few bags of this in my freezer in July before DS arrives.

Two of my favorite freezer prepped meals are:

Taco Chicken - in a bag add 1 can Cr Chicken soup, 1 Cup Salsa, 1 package taco mix...mix up...add three breasts - or any other meat (BL/SL thighs, etc). Day of dump in crock pot - cook on low for 8 hours, shred. We eat this as tacos, over rice, in qusadillas or on salad. I love it! (Note: I like to cut the breasts into chunks to help with shredding...like three chunks per breast).

Chicken N Dumplings: Base recipe is 2 cans Cr Chicken, 1 packet ranch seasoning (hidden valley), 2 C milk, 3 chicken breasts (cut up as mentioned above). All this can be combined and thrown in a plastic freezer bag. Day of, cook on low for 8 hours. Add bag of frozen mixed veggies - we use either peas/carrots or a bit more of a blend with peas/carrots/corn/greenbeans/etc. This is where you have options...take a can of grands biscuit dough...you can either quarter them and add to the pot cooking for thirty mins more for the "dumpling" OR you can cook the rolls - split them in half and use the chicken mix as a "gravy"...think biscuit and gravy. Super Yummy!

I also like just having frozen marinated meat in the freezer (pork tenderloin, chicken breast, etc), rice or rice a roni in the pantry then a fresh veggie!

My favorite freeze ahead meal is chicken pot pie. It is a little time intensive to make, but I use rotisserie chicken which speeds it up, and I also make multiple pot pies in one batch. I also have meatloaf, turkey burgers, lasagna, spaghetti sauce, and taco meat in the freezer right now (we just had a baby so I was stocking up too).

Another quick, easy meal that's a favorite around here are crockpot chicken tacos. We use two pounds of chicken breasts, two packets of taco seasoning, and a jar of salsa. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, and shred a half hour before serving. Super easy and really good, and great for leftovers too.

Quiche, meatloaf, taco meat, pulled pork all freeze well after cooking. Then it's just heat and add tortillas/buns/salad.

Pioneer Woman's chicken spaghetti (http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/chicken_spaghet/) is my favourite. It's a little time intensive to make but you can cut that way down by using a rotisserie chicken or pre-cooked chicken strips from the deli section and just boiling the noodles in some stock for flavour. Also it makes a really large quantity, when I make it I always heat half and put the other half in the freezer, and both halves give us enough for a family of 4 with leftovers.

My kids like the Birdseye garlic chicken pasta meal they sell in the frozen section at Costco. They recently had a sale on then so I bought several bags. :)

I make large batches of meat sauce in the IP and freeze flat in gallon ziploc bags and then it's just boiling pasta.

We also get those frozen spinach Ravioli from Costco and DS1 helps me make Ravioli lasagna - layer with sauce and cheese and bake for 1 hour.

We made Hawaiian BBQ sliders for DS2's birthday recently. It was a can of crushed pineapple, a bottle of BBQ sauce and a package of chicken in the crock or IP. Served on Hawaiian rolls. It made a ton so I have some in the freezer for another day!

Also we love this in the newborn days with a bag of frozen stirfry veg added to it:

I'm looking for some new ideas for meals I can have mostly done & in the freezer, especially before baby comes. It can be Instant Pot, Crock Pot, whatever! I'd love to try things that don't take very long to put together and are generally kid friendly.
