I really liked this. I just undercooked the pasta and used rotini. I also doubled the recipe and split it into 4 containers

http://www.recipe-diaries.com/2011/11/14/baked-cream-cheese-spaghetti-casserole/

And this is heavenly. http://www.strawberryplum.com/polenta-bake-with-italian-sausage-lacinato-kale/

baked ziti: one to eat and one to freeze (I do so in a toss away foil container, so it can go straight in the oven). The recipe is basically half of everything you buy at the store (half a box of pasta, half a bag of mozzarella, half a container of ricotta, etc), so I just use up all the ingredients.

http://www.marthastewart.com/312465/baked-ziti-with-crunchy-italian-salad-an

This one is also pretty good, just requires a lot more prep:

http://www.marthastewart.com/313371/baked-penne-with-chicken-and-sun-dried-t

I made big batches of chili and meat sauce in the crockpot then ladled them into gallon freezer bags and froze them flat. They stacked wonderfully in the freezer and thawed super fast. I also made shredded chuck roast and pork butt in the crock with just onion, bay leaves, salt and pepper, and Worchestershire sauce sprinkles on top to use for tacos, sandwiches, BBQ. Just add buns or tortillas. Frozen chicken wings or boneless skinless thighs cook in just 4 hours in the crock so it's something you can throw in at lunch and have ready for dinner. I usually just dump frozen chicken with a bottled sauce like teriyaki or BBQ or sprinkle some lemon pepper and let it go on high. Cooked rice freezes well for an easy side and I kept big bags of frozen veg too. I generally like to cook my meals and then freeze them in individual entree portions and then thaw a few containers of food to heat for dinner.

Chicken, sweet potato, quinoa soup: http://www.chelseasmessyapron.com/slow-cooker-sweet-potato-chicken-and-quinoa-soup/ I sub butternut squash because I can buy it already cut up and you can get it frozen too.

Buffalo chicken: 3-4 chicken breasts, 1 packet ranch seasoning, 1 bottle Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Cook 4-6 hrs on low. Use for tacos, nachos, sandwiches.

These aren't freezer meals, but only fresh ingredients you need is chicken breast, so if you had all the other ingredients in your pantry, it would be a quick dump in the crockpot and go kind of meal.

What have been your favorite freezer meals for your family? Links or recipes appreciated!

Also what are your favorite (easy) crockpot freezer meals? Hoping to get some healthy easy options in the freezer for after baby is born but I don't want to spend a ton of time prepping. So far I've got a frozen lasagna (bought) and two small trays of frozen baked ziti. The nice thing about a winter baby is I will actually want hearty casseroles and the like that freeze well- I made lots of warm hearty things last time and didn't want any of them after a July baby!
