We also love Hungry Hungry Hippos. She was sick a few days last week and we taught her Candyland while we were stuck at home, and she is now obsessed with games, so we're adding some to her Christmas list for ideas for grandparents, etc. We tried Chutes and Ladders and Connect 4 because we had them at home, but both of those were a little beyond her ability for now. </p> <p>Others that I have researched and added to our xmas list are Hoot Owl Hoot, Zingo, Hi Ho Cherrio, Spot it! JR Animals, and Colorama. We haven't actually played these yet, but they sound great. Zingo and Colorama might be a little advanced, but I think will be good in the next year or so. Hi Ho Cherrio might be a little simple, but I'm hoping it's one that her almost 2 year old sister can play soon too. </p> <p>Another thing we tried while home sick was Perler Beads (those pegboards that you put beads on, then iron them to fuse together), and she LOVED it! Ds1 is 5 and started to ask to play with us when he was 4. We worked on it slowly.
