@newlypregnantlady: This is totally me! I'm super cheap with clothes, and I'm not a tiny person either. I'm the same height as you, and about 20 lbs heavier! hahaha Good to know about Target....I will have to check them out for sure. I never shop at target for clothes for myself, but maybe i should start!

Target online and Old Navy online were my go to. I also got some Gap dresses as well. Our local stores didn't have much so I did mostly online. Some of my normal maxi dresses fit too.

I'm super super cheap (like I rarely spend over $75 annually on clothes) when it comes to clothes, and I've had luck at Target (but not in maternity). I've bought several fold over maxi skirts, and several maxi dresses on clearance. Because they're basically Tshirt material they stretched over my belly and were way more flattering than maternity dresses because they had less fabric. With the foldover skirts I could wear regular tanks because I could use the foldover panel and pull it up over my belly.

I'm currently 37 weeks (with #2) and I've only really bought two actual maternity shirts, two pairs of leggings (which I got during a Black Friday sale), and one pair of maternity shorts. I actually prefer my non-maternity, $15 foldover leggings from Target to my Gap maternity leggings.

I also wanted to add that I'm not some tiny petite pregnant lady! I'm 5'2 and currently about 190! So I'm all about Target!

But Ross also has some good maxi dresses usually.

Awesome suggestions!! I will have to pull out my maxi dresses! I have 2 that I wore towards the end of my pregnancy with DD1. I don't know why I forgot about them until now! I just don't want to do a shorter dress just because I will still be chasing around a toddler, and no one wants to see these granny panties.... :silly:

I haven't worn shorts in yeeaarsss.....super self conscious about my legs/thighs.....but I think I'm at the point where idgaf anymore, and I'm going for what makes me cool/comfortable! I will check out ON for those!

Not pregnant now but I lived in leggings and (non-maternity) tank swing dresses from Target with a belt! That way I could wear them when I wasn't pregnant.

Something like these:
http://www.target.com/p/women-s-striped-sharkbite-tank-dress-mossimo-153/-/A-51937886

Gap makes a jersey foldover maxi maternity skirt that I lived in for both pregnancies. ON makes a similar one in a knee length that I had 2 of as well. ON's maternity jeans and one pair of black slacks carried me for both pregnancies. ON had linen blend shorts last summer that were super cool and comfy. For ON shirts, I look specifically for the slub material - its soft and light and comfy. I like the Liz Lange maternity tanks from Target (the ones that are like undershirts and not spaghetti strap) - they were super soft and stretchy and sooo comfy. I just wore a denim button down or a kimono/open flowy cardigans on top if I needed it.

If you need something a little nicer, the LL Bean summer knit dress line is wonderful - even through post partum and nursing.

I liked the Thyme maternity brand. It was sold at Babies R Us near me but I noticed my store doesn't have it anymore. I really like the summer stuff I got there, comfortable and well fitting. It felt nicer than Target or Old Navy stuff.

I've gotten Target maternity tanks for layering under some non-maternity button down shirts. Motherhood Maternity for nicer basic tees (when on sale) and nice maternity jeans. Burlington Coat Factory for basic cheap maternity tees and tanks and even maternity jean shorts and capris. I've gotten JcPenney non-maternity dresses that are empire waist and stretchy material, so comfy! Then I'm using my existing maxi skirts/dresses.

Also, Walmart was strangely a go-to place for some cheap but decent stuff!

Target has buy one get one 50% off dresses right now. Or they did a few days ago. Also check out somewhere like Platos Closet and look through the maxi dresses. Most of them stretch enough to accommodate a bump. :)

I haven't been too impressed with summer options either, honestly, but I have found a couple comfy pair of shorts from Old Navy - http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=65527&vid=1&pid=609193042 (I find they run true-to-size) - and my most comfortable knit dresses are from Pink Blush (not super cheap, but they do have sales).

I'm basically just over maternity clothes in general, so I'm probably not a good resource

I lived in my normal maxi skirts and a maternity tank top. I would throw on a cardigan when going to work. Thankfully, my office had a casual dress code.

I don't have really anything! I have winter/cold weather stuff, but not much for warm weather. I'm due Aug 19th, so I will be wearing the warm weather stuff for a little bit, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, I'm very cheap when it comes to clothes. I definitely don't care about name brands, just comfortable honestly!

I've shopped at Old Navy and Kohl's mainly.....but I haven't been too thrilled with the options.
