Our professor was only part-time, he actually worked as an engineer at one of the local oil refineries. He would bring in examples of how he used statistics every day in his job. It was a tiny class, the professor was crazy (in a good way), we didn't use a textbook, our final was a "group final", and I brought cake. Surprisingly, I also learned a lot in this class. </p>
