I don't know if this is mineral/chemical (maybe I'm a dummy) but this is what I use and I'm obsessed. I know exactly what you mean about the "stinging" feeling around more sensitive areas and this doesn't do that in the least. I specifically rub it under my eyes and around them. It is so so so lightweight and non-greasy (despite its name). Addicted!

I like this MD Solar Sciences one. It definitely keeps my skin very matte unlike others I've tried.

@Foodnerd81: hmm interesting! I've been using it for about 3-4 years, I previously bought it at whole foods but this one probably within 6 mo at a natural grocery store by my house. The packaging looks the same but who knows if it's new or old formula?

@junebugsmama: how old is your container? The Amazon reviews say it changed formula and some don't like the newer one?

Going to take a look at all of these.

@regberadaisy: Somewhere in-between, I think? Feels more like a lotion on, though.

I think you'll love this one! Thy have it at whole foods. It absorbs nicely. Sometimes I mix it with a little moisturizer and then it absorbs even better.

Every chemical sunscreen I've tried on my face burns and stings like crazy all around my eyes, so I only use mineral sunscreen on my face. But the ones I've used are very heavy and make me sweat or break out more (probably because I end up using my toddlers babyganics which isn't exactly meant for adult faces).

What do you use and recommend hoping for something that rubs in easily and won't make me all shiny and slick. I'm ok if it costs a little more since I'll only use it on my face, if it's really good.
