I hated my Boppy and how it wrapped around me. If I ever breastfeed again I am going to get a Millou Hen Pillow. I like how it doesn't wrap around and I like how it looks.

My Brest Friend, or anything with a strap. The strap is amazing because it keeps everything in place. I bought a Boppy, then sold it for a MBF.

I tried the my breast friend with my first LO and didn't like it. The clip in the back got annoying and it was too firm. I ended up using and loving the boppy for several months. Currently still using the same boppy with Dd for 10 months now and it's still holding up. Now that she's bigger and I'm lazy in bed I just use a regular pillow.

I am a Boppy lover! I used it for nursing and propping with DD1 and DD2, and in between my older daughter used it as a regular pillow for a while. I also used it as a belly pillow when I was pregnant the second time

I have a JJ Cole one that might fit the niche you're looking for. It is smaller than the MBF, but is made of a similar firm foam and has a flat platform top rather than a rounded one like the boppy or Gia.

I have 2 and I feel like they're good for different purposes. When lo1 wais teeny I liked my breast friend, but now for lo2 i only like it for nursing in a chair-- I'm mostly nursing in bed right now w my newborn and find the back part of it cumbersome since I'm constantly shifting from nursing to sleeping. So I prefer the boppy in bed, and for nursing everywhere when lo is bigger

I've been using my Brest Friend pretty much daily since July 2013, with a 9 month break when I stopped nursing and was pregnant with my second! I don't find it that cumbersome and like that it stays on me if I have to get up and readjust. I never got comfortable with the Boppy when I borrowed them at friends' houses. It was a hand me down from my sister, so I would say we have gotten our money's worth.

I've only used the Boppy and have been happy with it. Going to use it for my third too.

I second the Gia. It's been awhile, but from what I remember, it was firmer than Boppy, which I didn't like because baby would squish down, but had similar ease of use compared to the cumbersome Breast Friend.

I had a Boppy and really didn't like it. My daughter was constantly slipping between me and the pillow. I basically ended up just using it folded in half and stuck under my arm as a regular pillow.

I borrowed a MyBreastFriend from a friend and it was sooo much better. Firmer, more supportive, and I could wrap it around me so it would stay put.

Fwiw I'm short and had fairly large breasts while nursing (34GG). I imagine that might make somewhat of a difference?

I was looking for a pillow that was good for moms with big boobs. It's been so long since I used it for nursing, but I don't recall anything negative about it.

I feel like there are so many options and I need a new one for baby 2. I have a my best friend and I liked it in the early days but it's kind of cumbersome so I didn't use it long. My boppy was a hand me down and I used it all the time but it is pretty squished now. In the early days I hated the way baby would roll towards me in that slope area but once she was bigger we used it daily until like 1.5!

Should I just get another boppy or is there something else awesome out there now?
