Ours has a canopy which was helpful so the kids weren't in the direct sun and the sand didn't get too hot.</p> <p>Other outdoor toys that were great were a pool by one step ahead that could be flipped over to be a little trampoline. DS loved it. I want one for our yard too, but my husband isn't handy!</p> <p>The biggest pain with the sandboxes is covering them so cats and birds don't use it as a litter box.
