We'll be spending a week there, just hanging out, enjoying the park and doing some light hiking. The National Zoo is huge and there are a ton of museums (and zoo/museums are free!). I love Ny and we did have fun, but its just not that easy to get around with a baby. </p> <p>The one vacation we all love is camping, but that's a lot of work because of set up, cooking, etc. If you are into camping I would suggest Disney camping. They have so much to do for kids - water area by the pool, chip and dale sing along and Disney movie every night, horses, bikes, canoes, arts and crafts, etc. We've been when lo was 3 months, 15 months, and 20 months and we loved it each time. And they're awesome there- you can rent a tent and they'll set it up for you. We don't, but it's hive for out of towners. Yay! But where to go? </p> <p>Where have you taken your under 1-year old (we figure we will go by this time next year, at which point she will be 9-10mos) that you just LOVED, for the ease of taking a baby around, for entertainment, etc.? </p> <p>I figure we will stay in the continental US, and we live in Texas, so we will most likely fly to wherever we go. I'm open to anywhere, and I'd love to hear about your successful trips! </p>
