My MIL prefers to do it all in a stand mixer. I like to whisk the dry ingredients together before adding. </p> <p>(All ingredients at room temp)</p> <p>Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a bundt pan (Gram refused to use anything except crisco and Wondra) </p> <p>Cream: 1/2 c crisco with 2 sticks butter<br /> Add: 3 c sugar, mix until creamy<br /> Add: 5 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each<br /> Mix: 3 c flour<br /> 1/2 tsp baking powder<br /> 1/2 tsp salt<br /> Add: 1 c milk alternately with dry ingredients.
