Pasta bakes, chili, pesto pasta with sausage and broccoli, roast chicken cut up in to pieces so that it reheats quickly, black beans, chicken stews, soups (chicken noodle minus the noodles until it's time to eat, otherwise the noodles soak up all the soup; tomato; red lentil). I have some recipes somewhere if you're interested!

Chicken wings? I literally baked chicken wings today and as it was getting ready DH got home with burger patties and announced he would grill. So the chicken wings go into the fridge ....

http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/orange-glazed-chicken-wings

And ribs? meatloaf (DS's favorite!) ? We used to make pasta sauce and those heat up well too. All you need to do is cook the pasta while reheating the sauce.

I don't have the link to the recipes for ribs and meatloaf here because I have them on this Food.com app on my phone... For pasta sauce I think you can google bolognese sauce that freezes well....!

Anyone care to share a favorite "make ahead" recipe that reheats well? Bonus if toddler friendly.

We are in a bit of a food rut and looking for new ideas for dinners.
