&#60;p&#62;That and seeing the buds poke up from the ground. Of course, living in New England sometimes they get covered in snow the next day, but still... it's exciting!

<description>&#60;p&#62;My sister brought home a package of seeds from kindergarten back in 2004. We planted them in the front yard (as a lark, I never expected them to grow) and they ended up being flowers. They bloom every spring and make me so happy.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Yesterday a coworker brought in daffodils from TJs and I got excited  - for me that is a sign of spring - either seeing them sprout from the ground or at TJs.&#60;br /&#62;
A favorite later sign of spring for me is when the strawberries are ready for picking here - usually early May.&#60;br /&#62;
