I love Tom Yum soup with shrimp, and also love miso soup. Also love that Greek lemon soup with chicken, orzo and egg in it (can’t remember the name right now, but its so good and so easy to make).

I like corn chowder and chilis, French onion, butternut squash, and most other soups.

@chopsuey119: Matzo ball soup recipe:

-Chicken (one cut up chicken on the bone, and more of what you like (most people use chicken breasts but I always add dark meat)
-Celery (cut up)
-Onions (cut up)
-Carrots (either cut up or baby carrots)
-Matzo ball and soup mix (make sure you get the one that has soup too, not just the matzo balls)
-Egg noodles and challah are optional, but very yummy.

-Fill a very big pot with water until it's 3/4 full. Add chicken and boil. Then let simmer for an hour.
- Take chicken out and let cool. After it's cool, take it off the bone and return it to the pot. In the meantime, add celery, onions, and carrots.
-Make matzo balls according to the package. Add soup mix.
-Let simmer for a long time, I like to leave it at least 4 hours. It's one of those soups that tastes better the next day.
-You can also add egg noodles and you should get challah for dipping.

Butternut Squash soup is one of my favorites. I love broth based soups, like chicken noodle, minestrone, garden vegetable, etc. Not really a fan of chowders and creamed soups.

@autumnlove: usually beef (but some add clams instead) and garlic. It tastes better than it sounds :)
most Korean gals eat it after they have a baby. My mom wanted me to eat it for a month, but I stopped after 3 weeks. Seaweed overload.

I love creamy soups--clam chowder and broccoli cheddar.
I also love chili.
And Korean soups--miyuk (seaweed), galbi tang, soondooboo (tofu).

I made a big pot of seaweed soup on Sunday. Finished it today and made another pot. Currently addicted to seaweed soup.

My LO was born in March so I shall celebrate by eating seaweed soup until April. :P
