The Camelback Eddy always works well for us. You do have to take the straw apart but it's much quicker and easier than other ones.

@gingerbebe: our contigo Stryker cup kids have broken- mostly the black pans underneath that provides a seal pops out and is impossible to jam back in. Maybe the update fixed that.

@macintosh: we have wood floors that are already pretty dinged up- so maybe I should worry anyway!

We have zoli straw cups for water and oxo tot for milk. We also use Thermos foogo straw cups for when we're out and about.

We use the Contigo Gizmo straw cup - its the updated version of the Stryker cup. It doesn't leak, its very durable (I have a cup thrower) and easy to suck, clean, and assemble.

At home we just the Zoomi cups - I just wish they had a lid or something!

Milk goes in the Foogo to school.

@Foodnerd81: my guy throws the Thermos all the time. We have laminate as well as vinyl floors and they don't dent. The plastic on the cup can get scuffed when he drops it on pavement, and sometimes the lid pops off but he has not broken one yet.

We do have a foogo for my older one that I really like. I'm concerned my cup thrower would dent the floor with it though! The only time it has leaked are when I didn't put t together right or when she really was just banging it upside down and trying.

Oxo are very easy to clean and put together, but can drip if turned upside down while open. We have a First Years which is very leakproof for our cup thrower. I prefer Thermos Foogo or Funtainer for taking milk on the go. Won't leak when closed but can drip when open, and keep the milk cold.

My almost 16 month old uses almost exclusively the Munchkin straw cups. They are not perfect (not sure any straw cup is), but they do have the lid that flips over the top. Not sure I'd store it upside down in the diaper bag, but I do put them in the diaper bag all the time and never really have any issues.

Oh- and we have take and toss cups for the older one, which are great, but since the baby still tosses things off her high chair I'm going to hold off on those for a while.

What are you favorite straw cups these days? We used contigo cups a lot for my older daughter but they kept breaking in one way or another. Lifetime warantee but it's been really annoying to get a replacement. My now 1 year old drinks great from any straw cup i give her so I don't need special starter cups or anything.

Looking for something relatively leak proof (like if it's in my bag sideways t probably won't leak or if she drops it off the high chair). Easy to clean- I'm so sick of pulling apart and putting back together straw cups! And easy to hold for a 1 year old, but I think she is fine without handles.

Tell me your favorites! Baby needs a few more Christmas gifts.
