It's a good size for gripping and since it's been nice out, I have been letting her at the patio, sidewalk, playset, even the sides of the house, haha, because it's easy to wipe off.</p> <p>We have had a hard time with markers. She gives me side eye with Color Wonder - she's like, why won't this draw on my arm and the wall? Though she will use them sometimes - but I have also found them to dry out quickly. Washable is pretty washable from skin and clothes but it's still a pain when it is all over the house. DD loves them! They're thick so they're easier for him to hold and move around. We made finger paint out of instant mashed potatoes once but it was messy and hard to spread. We also tried the Crayola my first finger paint, but the sticky paint stuff, though not colored, is pretty gross. They use washable markers at school and they come off of her hands (that she likes to color..) really easily.
