I'm not sure if you've tried those or just the sandals. They hold up amazingly, including machine washing and drying. They sustain multiple washings begter than Keen sandals (which looked worn faster). They've lasted the entire school year and still look great. I've always gotten gender neutral colors anyway and they are just great fit, comfort, durability too. He has one pair of sandals and one pair of nicer shoes. I know I have friends who think I am crazy for only having 3 pairs of shoes for him! His swim instructor will likely pick him up two of those days and walk him to the community pool. We have a pair of classic Stan Smiths that I’m eagerly waiting for my younger son to grow into after his big brother grew out of them.
