We have iron railings and dh fabricated a brace for that side because drilling wasn't an portion. It's not pretty,, but it works. What's your bannister/ posts/ wall situation up there? The new house has posts on both sides (picture included). I saw a kit that allows you to attach the gate without drilling, great! But $32 for each side, not including the gate itself?!
