We had to do the first one with him and occasionally he still needs help with a piece, but he spends a lot of time putting them together independently. I've found that 24-35 pieces is the right level of difficulty for him. And he's so proud when he finishes one... M seems to be really developing her imagination lately though (she'll be 3 next month) so I think that the next "toys" or birthday presents will be a collection of dress up clothes or accessories. I haven't really refreshed his indoor toys in quite awhile, we've been spending so much time outside!</p> <p>Any suggestions? We do a lot of play-doh, blocks and books at this point! </p>
