I think the last time a counted I had been to 38 out of the 50 states.</p> <p>Some of my favorite locations include:<br /> -Gulf Coast in FL (think Clearwater area) very family friendly<br /> -Anywhere in the smoky mountains (our favorite is Gatlinburg, TN)<br /> -Perhaps a road trip around the southwest doing national parks?<br /> - Upstate NY or anywhere on the Greatlakes (summertime!)</p> <p>Personally, I have only been a few places where I do not want to go back for one reason or another. I do not picture myself ever going back to New Orleans (it was cool to see, but I would never bring small children there), st. Louis (saw what I wanted to see), as far as where to go and bring small children (just bc they may appreciate the cities a bit more if they are older)....I probably would avoid NYC, New Orleans, Las Vegas. The North End is a must for authentic Italian food. </p> <p>Philly - We live outside of Philly, but I'm still pretty amazed by it's history and the new things I can explore there. </p> <p>I've also recently been out west for a few business trips. </p> <p>Seattle is great if you're a huge fan of coffee and outdoor adventure. We did a road trip last summer through coastal Maine and it was awesome. I have also really enjoyed past trips to the national parks in the Nevada/Utah/Arizona area (Grand Canyon Bryce, Zion). History, architecture and food are out of this world. </p> <p>Also love Palm Springs. Went in October and just went again 2 weeks ago (so late April) and both were fantastic weather. I think maybe I liked October better. </p> <p>Also did Outer Banks several times with my family and really loved that every time! We plan on trying to get everyone together there now that my siblings and I have LOs. </p> <p>Charleston, SC is next on my list! I really want to go back to Palm Springs. I love San Francisco. Disney is just south of there. San Diego is great with kids. I also love Honolulu and go almost yearly. Las Vegas is amazing.
