We have a Motorola one, but are considering the Dropcam for when DW goes back to work after maternity leave.

We have the Foscam (which I love!!) that we view on our phones using an app. The app can stay open and you can switch between applications. We also use an audio monitor so f I hear anything strange I can just turn on the video monitor.

I like my Motorola one. I wish it would sync with mine and my husband's iPhones. Otherwise, it's a great video monitor for making sure LO is asleep or rousing. It's a lot better than listening for him to make noise before feeding him or getting him up for the day.

I have a Motorola one, that I found recommendations on here for, that is good. My biggest complaint about it is that it doesn't mute. I wish that I was able to turn the volume off when he needs to just cry it out.

I also have a Summer Infant one, that is about three years old now, that I do like as well. It does have a mute option, but I can't talk to DD on it, like I can with the Motorola.

I wish I could use my phone for the monitor, but both of mine are good and function how I ultimately want. I can't say that I "love" either of them though, but they work.

I use a Motorola one that I like but it would be nice to be able to check in on LO when I'm at work and she is at home too. I think maybe the Foscam can do that.

@mrs. Pen: I think you have one of those don't you?

Whats your favorite video monitor? I really have no idea where to even start with this. I think it would be great to be able to check up on LO with my phone, but I'm curious how that works. I've heard you use an app, but does that app have to be constantly running? Can you use your phone for anything else while it is? If I cant use my phone while baby is sleeping I would rather have a regular handset I think. Anyways, I need help! :)
