We started with a Motorola, but it never worked quite right (constantly losing signal despite being in the next room, etc) and after 4 days we got a Foscam, which I love and has worked perfectly. (We have the one with all the fearures you listed, not the one that you can use with your phone).

We have the Summer Infant one. We've been using it for two years and love it. It uses a private signal and has intercom. We never use the intercom though. No issues.

I also have a Motorola and second everything that @marionberry said. The temperature function is great for us because the heating and ac aren't consistent throughout the house. I went through three different brands of monitor before this one, because those all had terrible signal in my house. the only thing I don't like about it is that when it's running on battery, the screen shuts off after a few minutes.

We have a motorola for our son and just bought a newer version with two cameras for our upcoming twins. We rarely use the intercom capacity, but it works. The night vision is great and I think it has a private signal. We've never had any issue with interference. My favorite is that it has a temperature and sound sensor.

I never had a video monitor with my first child, but she will be sharing a room with her baby brother in the spring and I'm in the market for a video monitor.

I'd like something with night vision, intercom, and a private signal.

Any recommendations? Has anyone used the Levana Ayden model?
