Really? I need to do some kegel research, apparently! And, you know, actually do them since I am super lazy about it.

@meredithNYC: I feel your pain. It improved with physio sessions (who specializes in post-partum recovery) but I need to be diligent with my kegel exercises...did u know there are soooo many different types and purposes? I am at 4 months so don't feel too bad about your current state!

@caffeinated: Ha! That is totally not TMI. At 11 weeks postpartum I feel like the pee trickle is still a bit of an issue. I never knew it would be like that for so long.

@meredithNYC: i am doing the 30 day shred and it is not as bad as you think. It is the perfect length (20 minutes) so you can always squeeze in one workout a day. I no longer have a pee when i jump situation (tmi, i know) so i have been upping the intensity. Overall, it is a good workout!

30 day shred is good. Quick but it is good workout. My SIL just completed Instanity and she looks great. She is going to start it again.

I loved Insanity so much. I can't wait until I can get back to it (currently pregnant), I did it for 30 days and lost 14 lbs (and I was only 130 to begin with!) I had so much more energy and my body felt so much tighter. I also followed their diet plan to make sure I was getting enough protein and calories. I've never belonged to a gym and had been really inactive prior to starting, but it's okay to take breaks and not do all the reps (even the people on the video take breaks!)

@chopsuey119: Wow! Would love to lose that much. I probably have about 15 pounds to go to get down to pre-pregnancy weight, but I think it's going to take longer than 30 days to reach that goal. Honestly, I would be happy with 5 pounds in 30 days since I don't want to have too high of expectations.

@meredithNYC: it's honestly the easiest at home workout I've done! Not intense at all! I lost 7lbs in 30 day doing it :) watched what I ate too though.

I would also have to suggest 30 day shred! I have never done it consistently (maybe for 1 week in a row) but it was awesome, it was a great workout especially if you are crunched for time! Although I have to suggest putting it on mute, Jillian can get quite annoying!

Also, order it off Amazon, you can get it for really cheap!

@chopsuey119: I'm definitely considering 30 Day Shred, but it sounds intense! That said, it seems to get great results and I need results fairly quickly as I'm in a wedding in a month.

I'm trying to get back into some kind of workout routine, but because my husband's work hours are so long and I don't have anyone to look after LO, it looks like the gym will not be an option. My plan is to get up before LO and do a workout in the living room but I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions?
