My office is business/business casual/casual (depending on your department). I've actually gotten a couple really cute skirts at H&amp;M. Otherwise, Banana Republic and Express both make some pencil skirts that are on the long side and don't seem to ride up too much. </p> <p>@LuLu Mom: I used to work at an office that required women to wear skirts/dresses with hose. Plus, a nexklace and earings and a few random dresses that I have. I worked in a very conservative office where I had to wear a suit a few times a week for meetings. I mostly layered a button down shirt with a sweater during the fall/winter months and just a button down shirt during the summer months with dress pants. </p> <p>I got most of my pants from BR or Anne Taylor. They fit me best. I also have two black pants from bcbg. I loved them so much that I got two. They feel like yoga pants but look like dress pants - so comfortable! and I've had them for over 10 years now and still holding up well. They were pricey for me at the time but well worth it after all these years. </p> <p>Most of my dress shirts are from brooks brothers. I think they were just close to my workplace back then. But their slim cuts fit me well.</p> <p>I'm also a big fan of shirt dresses. Other than that, I don't wear many skirts or dresses to work.</p> <p>Congrats on the new job by the way!
