The support in the back actually made my back hurt. And I always had to prop it up on other pillows underneath it when LO was a newborn. Gia! It's a good compromise between the MBF and Boppy. Love them both. MBF was great in the beginning and I preferred it over the Boppy. But like @mamamoose said, the Boppy got easier as LO got older. The breast friend was definitely best for the first couple weeks when she was tiny and floppy. Now I use the boppy sometimes but most of the time I just hold her. I used a My Brest Friend at a lactation consultant's place, and it was sooo much easier with a floppy newborn.
