For myself the difficult part is usually tightening it enough, and that's the part that was super easy with the Nextfit.</p> <p>I know some people don't have an issue with installing the Combi, I imagine it depends on the person to some extent. The car seat tech quickly determined that we needed a pool noodle to angle it properly and then she got it done no problem, so maybe if we'd tried the pool noodle sooner it would have been easy. I'm a little jealous of the way his looks, but as someone else mentioned, the height limits on it aren't as good for extended rear facing, so I'm glad I went with the Nextfit. I hesitated a lot because price was an issue for us too (there's no way the Foonf was happening) but it's pretty easy to get it for 20-25% off which puts it around the $300 mark. If that's still more than you're looking to spend I would probably look at the Graco. More work to tighten than the Nextfit, but a significant price savings. We've been very happy with it. Really great seat, especially for the $150 we paid for it. Do you want to rear-face past 2, and is your LO on the tall side? If so, skip Britax. The Combi is cute but compact and again not the best choice for ERF. The Foonf has great safety features but it is a ridiculous heavy beast and very pricey. Dionos are great for ERF but not as easy to use as Britax. And it's very comfy and nice.</p> <p>DH has a Combi Coccoro (if I spelled that right), which comes in fun colors, was more reasonably priced, and does great in a smaller vehicle.
