There was a thread on this a few weeks ago.

http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/psa-fda-warns-against-zofran-during-pregnancy

To me, the announcement isn't that it can't be used. Rather, it's that they're continuing to evaluate the drug. The second paragraph says,

"FDA wants to emphasize that the listing of a drug and a potential safety issue on this Web site does not mean that FDA is suggesting prescribers should not prescribe the drug or that patients taking the drug should stop taking the medication. Patients who have questions about their use of the identified drug should contact their health care provider. FDA will complete its evaluation of each potential signal/new safety information and issue additional public communications as appropriate."

So, like any drug, you have to weigh risks and benefits. In many cases, the benefits of taking it, or the risks of not taking it, probably outweigh the possible risks of taking it. I know that I couldn't have survived without it, and I would take it again, unless really convincing evidence comes out to the contrary in the future.

Hmmm I didn't vote because I didn't have morning sickness (just a whole host of OTHER symptoms) but I had heard it posed some potential dangers (but doesn't everything?!)

I responded on the other thread, but it was mentioned on many sites that whoever wrote this blog post was just trying to scare women and the FDA never put out this warning.

A friend posted this article on facebook and I literally don't know how I'll survive another pregnancy now.

http://www.fertilitycenter.com/fertility_cares_blog/fda-warns-against-zofran-use-in-pregnancy/

(I took zofran from about 7 weeks until 30. Granted I only took 1 per day (RX was for 3x a day) and in the last month or two, just every other day. But without it I became unable to even sit up to work!)

Here's the FDA Announcement: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/Surveillance/AdverseDrugEffects/ucm351864.htm

Makes me wonder if it's still being prescribed? I guess it's not officially "bad" - the FDA page says "The appearance of a drug on this list does not mean that FDA has concluded that the drug has the listed risk. It means that FDA has identified a potential safety issue, but does not mean that FDA has identified a causal relationship between the drug and the listed risk. If after further evaluation the FDA determines that the drug is associated with the risk, it may take a variety of actions including requiring changes to the labeling of the drug, requiring development of a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS), or gathering additional data to better characterize the risk."

Did you take Zofran (Ondansetran?) Would you use it again, after reading this?
