Haha! Mine did this too! Eventually, I started pointing them out in a cutesy voice "oh look at the cute little fuzzy!" And somehow she got in on the game and stopped being scared of them.

Maybe wipe down between their toes casually before bath then. And we like bath crayons!

@MrsSRS: even fuzzies on the carpet freak them out, I feel like they would be scared if they found them in their toes? Even though I know that's where most come from in the tub! @Banana330: genius! I'm trying that.

After they take off their socks can you make a game of them finding the fuzzies on their toes and throwing them away? Then could you put some big pompoms in the tub and hand them each a scoop and ask them to catch the fuzzies?

Mine just went through this! One day suddenly she screamed and cried and refused to get into the tub saying water/bath is scary (she is two and recently entered into this fear/scary phase). So we didn't force her, and tried to ask her exactly what is scary, and of course reassured her a thousand times.

The next time, we played up bath time a ton; so much fun! Splash! All her toys are there! I bribed her with A) we can blow bubbles in the tub B) Daddy will go in with you. So she clung onto daddy in the bathtub and of course we kept splashing and playing and eventually she was willing to stand in there and after I bust out the bubbles it's like nothing ever happened...

can you add bubbles so they can't see them?

Both of my girls have suddenly started fearing the bathtub, whether it's taking a bath or a shower. Fortunately I know the reason, and it's because they fear the "fuzzies" that are sometimes in there. I know that sounds ridiculous, and it is but they will literally run OUT of the tub, soaked, and start screaming and shaking. No matter how clean I have the tub they seem to find one each time they bathe. Now they will barely get into the bath or shower and last night we had to wash them as quickly as we could with just running tub water.

I know this sounds so silly, but I need help! I've tried explaining to them that lint/hairs whatever it is they are so afraid of will not get them and that it's likely coming from THEM. Any advice?
