I'm gaining my sleep back (slowly) and adjusting to constant feedings, although some of the pains of recovery and breastfeeding are a bit much at times. But DH and I are so bonded (he really went through Hell and back with me over the weekend), and watching him with our little girl just makes my heart melt. DD #1 is still in daycare 4 days a week so that helps. It's been stressful when I have the two girls by myself because I have a hard time prioritizing my attention between the two. Or at least, harder than expected. I feel very overwhelmed and he has had some latching issues that have made BFing stressful and painful. We're working on it and hoping for the best. I'm also really exhausted. I've only slept about 6 hours since he was born and when I try, I can't fall asleep. To add to the exhaustion, I had a 3rd degree tear and recovery from that has been painful.
