Cervix was no further along than last week. :meh: I’m going to the hospital tomorrow night at 7:00 for Cervidril. I’ll be sleeping there and then Pitocin starts in the morning on Saturday. I was induced with my first, but didn’t need the Cervidril, so this is new to me. I’m sad to be away from DD1 for so long. I’ve never spent the night away from her in her 3 years. It’ll be rough. We co-sleep, so it’s goint to be quite an adjustment with new baby, too. Arrived 2/15 at 8am. Long story short-was in pre labor for a couple of days before and having pretty bad contractions that would eventually stopped. Turns out it was back labor. Finally became steady on Weds morning, went to dr at 3pm and was 3cm and she admitted me. Got the epidural about an hour in and progressed on my own. She was facing sideways which is why I has the back labor but I was able to push her out in about 1.5 hours. She was just over 6lbs and is cute as a button. You're so close! Enjoy this last weekend sans bébé :) </p> <p>Had my 38 week check-up yesterday, my doctor didn't check me so no clue on dilation, etc. She said she'll check next week. I was feeling pretty uncomfortable last night and maybe was having a few mild contractions? The quasi-plan is to induce around 41 weeks if I haven't gone into labor and if my cervix is favorable, but since it's for a VBAC they can only do "induction-lite." I am hoping it doesn't come to that! Working today, and next week my school is on break then I go back for the Monday after as my last day if the baby hasn't arrived.
