It took him a few minutes and me showing him how to actually stamp by holding the top of his hand for him to get it but it kept his attention for 20-30 minutes after that! He did do some stamping on his belly and some playing with the finger paint but for a lot of the time he was actually stamping! We sprung a leak in one, and I put the filling of both into one freezer gallon bag. I think the thicker bag and the lesser amount of filling/bubbles helped because it was harder to poke at the slack. It was surprisingly not as messy as I'd thought! That meant though that it wasn't much fun for her. We've done other DIY toddler activities this month that were more for her though. I filled an old wipes box with fabric scraps for her to pull out and shove back inside. She's liked playing with the pompom/paper towel tube game in the kitchen while I cooked. She still wanders over to check out her bags of gel in the window. No fun. But today I finally got brave enough to get out the paint. I think the box I used may have been too big. It was pretty quick and easy though, so we may try it again later in the month!</p> <p>Anybody tried anything fun (not just from my post) that they want to share!?
