If my babies were awake at mealtimes then they ate solids and it was usually offered whatever the family was eating (within reason).

When did you give your baby more than one meal a day and was it breakfast or lunch? We did brunch ( :silly: ) and dinner starting at 7 months. It coincided with dropping down to every 4 hours for bottles.

When did you stop introducing foods one at a time and then waiting four days? We never did this. Both kids had allergies and we did not have trouble identifying them.

When did meals become well more meal like with a protein, veggie, and carb? We did BLW for dinner so both kids ate what we ate so they were always very "meal like." We tried to limit carbs though as we knew he/she would take to them.

When did you start offering water with meals? We always gave a cup with dinner.

We offered water in general at 6 months. I’m always thirsty at meals so I gave it to them.

I think DD2 started eating 3 times a day around 7 months when we figured out she didn’t want purées. DD1 was eating purées 3 times a day by 6 months and real food at 3 meals plus snacks by 8-9 months (I was an over eager first time mom and started her on solids at 5 months).

We never waited 4 days. We have DD1 more separate foods at first, and with DD2 we have her more dish-type foods (chicken rice soup, eggs with cheese and spinach,)—and of course DD2 is a more adventurous eater for it.

We never waited 4 days between offering new foods. We started offering food twice a day pretty soon after she started eating a little bit (breakfast and dinner with us).

When did you give your baby more than one meal a day and was it breakfast or lunch?

We did one meal at 6 months, two meals at 7 months, three meals at 8 months. (Or that was what our schedule was mostly like - there were definitely days where we were busy and would skip a meal here or there.)

When did you stop introducing foods one at a time and then waiting four days?

Honestly, I think after the first couple of weeks. DS1 has an egg allergy (which he's since grown out of) but that was obvious from the moment he ingested them and broke out in hives.

When did meals become well more meal like with a protein, veggie, and carb?

Probably around 8 or 9 months when they started eating dinner with us? We were transitioning away from purees and onto more finger foods, so we'd just feed them what we were having for dinner (usually deconstructed and in little pieces, but essentially the same food.)

When did you start offering water with meals?

From 6 months on.

When did you give your baby more than one meal a day and was it breakfast or lunch? Early - By 6 months. We started solid food at 5 months and she was all over it.
When did you stop introducing foods one at a time and then waiting four days? We never did.
When did meals become well more meal like with a protein, veggie, and carb? By 6 months. We went with baby led weaning and just gave her portions off of our plates. If she ate, great, if not, okay.
When did you start offering water with meals? Probably a few months later. I wasn't sure how she would do with a sippy cup.

We went on a cruise with DD at 6 months, 1 week and she was eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. We weren't as early with DS, our first. However, by 8 months, all of the above had occurred.

When did you give your baby more than one meal a day and was it breakfast or lunch? Probably around 8 months when he started being more interested...I think we did breakfast and dinner.

When did you stop introducing foods one at a time and then waiting four days?
We never did this!

When did meals become well more meal like with a protein, veggie, and carb?
10-12 months and then after a year for more like what we were eating as a meal.

When did you start offering water with meals?
When we started solids so 6 months. We had him do a straw water cup available at all times through the day from 6 months ish on.

When did you give your baby more than one meal a day and was it breakfast or lunch? We never had a schedule for meals when it was just one a day, both kids ate whenever I decided I had time to try. For DS2, our pediatrician recommended when he could move himself around on the floor (whether it be rolling, scooting crawling). Then when he could go from one side of the room to the other we could go to three meals a day. So two meals around 7 months and three meals around 9 months when he started crawling. I don't remember what we did for DS1!

When did you stop introducing foods one at a time and then waiting four days? Since we had no history of food allergies in either family our pediatrician said we did not have to introduce foods one at a time or wait in between, just don't introduce two common allergens in one meal, like peanut butter and shellfish.

When did meals become well more meal like with a protein, veggie, and carb? We always did whatever we were eating (within reason) once they started eating finger foods regularly. With DS1 that was around 14 months, with DS2, around 9 months.

When did you start offering water with meals? We always had a sippy cup of water after they were 6 months.

E is 6.5 months and we have recently started solids ( combo purees and finger foods), she eats both well and seems to like everything I have given her so far (butternut squash, avocado, sweet potato, peas, carrots, spinach). I have some questions that I just wanted to get other takes on.
