23 weeks and baby is hanging out super low - they have to put the Doppler below my hip bone to find her heart rate at the doctor! I had an amnio and now I've been joking that she won't go anywhere near where that needle was. 😊

Thanks! It's weird because people always see my belly and want to touch it and they place their hand on the top, naturally, and I'm like... the baby is nowhere near there, but go ahead!

I was feeling baby boy that low around then too. I can't say exactly when he moved up but I'm 31 weeks now and I mostly feel him higher up. I think I've been feeling him higher up from about 28 weeks. Not positive though. My first was always higher up so this is new to me.

I only ever felt movement higher then my belly button when I got pretty big towards the end. I have a long torso so I always felt movement low. It also depends on how the baby is positioned!

Just curious if most people around 20 weeks still feel their babies very low in their abdomen? When I feel his little kicks and movements, it's almost always in my pelvic area, just below where the top of my underwear is. I know the uterus is supposed to be up to my belly button at this point so wondering why I rarely ever feel him higher. Is that typical?
